(WFRV) – Temperatures today were a bit warmer than expected, thanks to some sunshine. Highs rose into the 80s, but relief is on the way as dew points slowly drop into the low 60s this evening. Overnight, skies will become mostly clear with lows dipping into the mid-50s.
Saturday brings another day of partly cloudy skies. While a stray thunderstorm is possible, it’s not very likely. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid-80s through the weekend.
By Sunday, muggy conditions return as dew points climb into the low 70s. The likelihood of evening thunderstorms will also increase, with showers expected to become more widespread as the day progresses.
Looking ahead to the workweek, we’ll start with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80s through Wednesday. Another chance for thunderstorms moves in on Thursday—just in time for the holiday weekend.
