(WFRV) – The 6th Annual Charity Golf Outing at Crystal Springs hosting by the Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue in Green Bay was a sold-out success, raising an impressive $15,733.92 for local rescue efforts.
A Facebook post from Misfit Mutts says golfers enjoyed sunshine, scenic greens, and great food from Jackson Point on Saturday, July 12th, with only a few drops of rain from what organizers called a “proud cloud.”

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and some fun new additions, including the Oven Mitt Challenge at Hole 17 and the Booze for Barks putting game, both of which officials say will return next year.
The popular 50/50 raffle also hit a new record, reaching $3,400, with the winner donating $1,000 of her winnings back to the rescue.
