GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers kicked off the 2025 training camp on Wednesday, continuing one of their most cherished traditions: the DreamDrive. Children lined up with their bikes outside Lambeau Field, hoping a player would choose them for the iconic ride to practice.
“Just to watch them practice, and see if all the younger kids get picked, and see their reactions,” said young Packers fan Beckham Peterson.

One fan, Zoe Rindt from Marion, hoped to recreate a special memory from last year — when Head Coach Matt LaFleur rode her bike and signed a few items for her.
“One of the security people told me to walk up there and see if Matt LaFleur wanted to ride my bike, and I said sure,” said Rindt. “We just rode down and it was fun. I had him sign some of my things. I want him to ride my bike again — I want him to sign this.”
The DreamDrive tradition, which has been part of Packers training camp for more than 80 years, remains a highlight for fans of all ages.
“As a kid you wish you could do it,” said Jacob Orlowski from Oak Creek. “But seeing so many of these kids’ faces light up — we were joking about the linemen and those bikes just struggling — it’s one of the oldest traditions in the NFL. Man, there’s nothing like it.”
Excitement for the upcoming season is running high, with fans already thinking about the postseason.

“Jordan Love — he is going to pull the team, whether it’s on his back or him and another wide receiver’s back — and we are going to make it to the Super Bowl,” said Robbie Lemmons from New Auburn. “It is going to be a fun season to watch.”
Packers training camp continues Thursday with practice scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
