SHEBOYCAN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Dog owners in Sheboygan now have more places to walk and play with their pets, thanks to a recent decision by the city’s Common Council.
In an effort to make the city more pet-friendly, several local parks have been officially designated as dog-friendly, with clear rules about on- and off-leash areas.

Dogs are allowed ON-LEASH at the following parks:
- Evergreen Park
- Jaycee Park to Mill Road along the Pigeon River corridor
- South Beach (from Indiana Ave to Clara Ave)
- Lakeview Park
- North Point Park and North Point Overlook
- Greenwing Drive retention ponds
- Camelot Blvd greenspace (1200–1400 block)
- Kiwanis Park Area 8 Biergarten (except during festivals)
Dogs are allowed OFF-LEASH at:
- Lakeview Park Beach
- Sheboygan and Town of Wilson Dog Park
- Pigeon River Park
The Sheboygan Police Department reminds pet owners to be responsible and always clean up after their dogs.
