GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) -Thirteen local nonprofits will receive a total of $159,500 from the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay to support programs that empower women and girls across Northeast Wisconsin.
From a release, the funding, awarded through the Women’s Fund’s summer 2025 grant cycle, will support services ranging from youth mentorship and childcare access to survivor advocacy and leadership development. Community fundholders contributed more than $75,000 to the effort, boosting the total amount awarded.
This grant cycle highlights the incredible work being done to create opportunities, strengthen families, and uplift women and girls in the region.

This year’s recipients include organizations that provide mentorship for girls, offer support to sexual assault survivors, empower women aging out of foster care, and strengthening service for women and children experiencing homelessness.
Others focus on leadership development for Indigenous women, cultural and educational programs for Black and Brown girls, and health initiatives for women of color.
The Women’s Fund, part of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, awards grants twice a year through a competitive application process.
