(WFRV) – The Top 4 finalists for the ‘Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin’ competition have been announced, with the final round of voting beginning Thursday.
The 10th annual ‘Manufacturing Madness’ is now down to four products, including a search & rescue airboat, custom wheelchair seating, a popular soy sauce, and extrication tools.

After the final round of voting, we will see who joins past winners such as Jolly Good Soda, Bevie Bottleless Water Dispensers, and the Electric Fire Truck made by Pierce Manufacturing.
In 2025, 148 nominated products were narrowed down to the Top 4, which include (* – Manufactured in northeast Wisconsin):
- #3 Seed: Search and Rescue 1000 Island Airboat*

- #5 Seed: Comfort Custom Seating System
- Permobil in New Berlin
- #13 Seed: Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- Kikkoman Foods, Inc. in Walworth
- #15 Seed: Extrication Tools
- TNT Rescue Systems in Hartland
Students explore skilled trades at inaugural My Future Brown County event
Voting to determine this year’s winner begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, and will be open until 12 p.m. on October 23. The winner will be crowned in Madison that same day.
The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin competition aims to annually showcase the state’s $73 billion manufacturing industry and its high-tech, high-skill, and high-pay career opportunities.
