ANTIGO, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Wisconsin are investigating a recent restroom fire near a playground that damaged a shelter building.
According to a release from the Antigo Police Department, Officers responded on November 2 to the Peaceful Valley Warming House near Castle Park for reports of a fire in the men’s restroom.

Police say a good Samaritan extinguished the fire, but it still caused some damage to the shelter building and its contents.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Antigo Police Department or the Langlade County Crime Stoppers.
