Menasha man arrested on 1st-degree reckless homicide charges stemming from 2022 Appleton death

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Appleton Police Department arrested a 31-year-old Menasha man on Thursday for 1st-degree reckless murder charges stemming from an investigation into an August 2022 overdose death.

The investigation started in August 2022 stemming from a report of a 42-year-old Appleton resident’s death in the 500 block of East Winnebago Street.

The suspect, identified as Julius Elmer, is held at the Outagamie County Jail, as formal charges are pending.
