(WFRV) – Driving in Wisconsin comes with a wide range of conditions, from snow to rain, but a recent study found that it ranked in the bottom half of states for driving.
WalletHub compared 50 states across multiple indicators of a positive commute. Some of the ranges included average gas prices and rush-hour traffic congestion. Wisconsin came in at number 32 overall, but was 44th (seventh worst) in safety rank.

Wisconsin did score near the top half of sates in the other categories which were:
- Cost of Ownership & Maintenance Rank – 28th
- Traffic & Infrastructure Rank – 20th
- Access to Vehicles & Maintenance Rank – 23rd
The study showed the average gas price differences between the states, with the highest being on the West Coast of the country. Mississippi was listed as having the lowest average gas prices.
