The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Tonight for Friday night lights, plan to have that favorite jacket or blanket with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 40s to eventually upper 30s. As skies conitnue to clear overnight, low temperatures will continue to fall in the mid to upper 20s, feeling like the upper teens and low 20s.
Tomorrow starts with sun, quickly building in the clouds, but the wind stays light. Highs in the mid and upper 30s to low 40s.
The system that we have been tracking will largely pass to our south, but a light snow shower or flurry can not be ruled out, especially lakeside as our winds briefly turn to the northeast.
Sunday, sunshine to clouds again and with a lake effect snow event over the UP, that could drag in a flurry or light snow shower. Maybe a quick coating in far northern door. Highs will top out only in the mid 30s paired with a breezy NNW wind between 10-20mph!
Monday keeps highs in the mid to upper 30s under a mix of sun and clouds and will hold a chance for another snow shower or flurry. Sub freezing temps expected for kickoff of Packers and Eagles game Monday night!
Warmer temperatures are in the forecast for the mid part of our week.
