PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WFRV) – Eight cats are dead and some equipment is damaged following a barn fire Monday evening in Sheboygan County.
According to a release from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, 11 agencies responded at 6:19 p.m. for reports of a barn fire at 1319 County Road PP in the Town of Plymouth.

Upon arrival, crews found the barn that houses granary machinery and some cats fully engulfed in flames.
Officials say the fire, which killed eight cats and damaged some of the equipment, was started by an electrical issue.
Aside from the eight dead cats, no one else was reported to be injured in the incident and no additional information is available.
