Better weather Wednesday, more rain later this week

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

Better weather conditions will roll in Wednesday after a rainy day yesterday! Many of our communities picked up anywhere from 0.5″ to 2.0″ of rainfall Tuesday, the higher totals where thunderstorms and downpours formed later in the day. Now today, plan on the sun coming back out and temperatures going up. Active weather will continue as additional showers will show up as the week progresses!

Outside of some early rain showers over the north, Today’s skies will be opening up and turning blue again with sunshine. Some fair weather clouds will roll by from time to time. The highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s

Tonight, partly to mostly cloudy skies, and most will get through the night without any rain. There is an exception, though, as an isolated light rain shower may form. Right now, it looks like that chance is going to favor the north. The low is 47 degrees.

Tomorrow, plan on a breezy and cooler day, along with some more light rain. Scattered showers from the morning into the late afternoon, especially in the southern half of the area. The high drops to 59 degrees.

Friday will be a nice day again. Mostly sunny and 66 degrees. If you have outdoor plans around dinnertime, know that there could be some rain around in the evening.

Mother’s Day weekend also bring some off/on rain. Saturday will have many dry hours, but some showers may pop-up from the very late morning or afternoon. The high is 65 degrees.

Mostly sunny and warm again on Sunday for Mom! Another rain chance will be possible late in the day, but if you want to enjoy the outdoors during the day, you’ll be in good shape. The high goes up to 71 degrees.
