Blizzard aim to repeat last season’s success with returning quarterback leading the way

DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) — Last season put an end to a decade of mediocrity for the Blizzard. Green Bay advanced to the conference championship, finishing with a 14-4 record—the most wins in a single season in franchise history.

In 2025, the Blizzard return a key piece who hopes to guide them back to that level of success. Wisconsin native and third-year Green Bay quarterback Max Meylor is back under center. The UW-Whitewater graduate totaled more than 70 all-purpose touchdowns last season, and while he considered not returning, the chance to lead the franchise to a championship was too tempting to pass up.

Hear from head coach Corey Roberson, Meylor, and second-year receiver Lowell Patron Jr. on the team’s hopes for this season following a historic 2024 campaign.
