CLINTONVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – A Clintonville man was arrested after officers found him to have nearly 33 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop early Friday morning.
According to the Clintonville Police Department, officers pulled a vehicle over on East Green Tree Road for several traffic violations around 2:25 a.m.
A K9 was called in to conduct an open-air sniff of the vehicle. After a positive alert, a search of the vehicle reportedly yielded 32.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia.
The 29-year-old man from Clintonville was arrested for Possession with Intent – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken to the Waupaca County Jail.
He was also cited for the various traffic violations.
