Fond du Lac man arrested after allegedly stabbing bar employee after argument, patrons held suspect down

LAMARTINE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 31-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested Friday afternoon after patrons at a bar reported that he stabbed an employee.

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received multiple 911 calls from Lori’s Bar and Grill in Lamartine around 3:56 p.m. on Friday, reporting that a man was stabbed.

Deputies were sent and while en route, they were told that patrons had the 31-year-old male suspect pinned down. An initial investigation on-scene deemed that a verbal dispute occurred between two employees, turning into a fight with the victim suffering several knife wounds.

The victim was treated at St. Agnes Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as the suspect, who was on probation and parole for battery and disorderly conduct, is being held on these charges at the Fond du Lac Jail:

  • 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
  • Mayhem
  • Substantial Battery
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Probation and Parole hold.
