Governor Evers goes on ‘pothole patrol’ in Green Bay, part of statewide tour

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers went on his annual ‘Pothole Patrol’ on Tuesday as he visited multiple cities across the state.

Governor Evers visited Racine, Green Bay and Tomah as he toured to help fix Wisconsin’s roads. This is the fourth year in a row that he has done this tour.

Representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local public officials reportedly joined Governor Evers.

Evers donned a construction vest and a shovel as he worked near the intersection of 12th Avenue and Howard Street.

State officials say that over 7,400 miles of roads and nearly 1,780 bridges have been improved since 2019.
