GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – This month, students at Langlade Elementary School in Green Bay are collecting items for those experiencing homelessness.
The various items include toothbrushes, laundry detergent, tissues, and soap. In total, the students brought in more than 8,100 items for their ‘Help for the Homeless Drive.’

“We are a school of about 250 students, and what we want them to realize is that when you have a common cause and you band together and you support each other and you work together, you can achieve really great things,” said Melissa Wojcik, Langlade Elementary School Principal.
Langlade Elementary hosts this collection drive annually, and last year the students brought in just under 5,000 items.
