GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – 11 recruits are set to endure extensive academy training to prepare for their lives as firefighters in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department announced the hiring of 11 new firefighters via Facebook, congratulating them as they get set to train.

Each of the recruits will spend the next few weeks in an ‘extensive’ fire academy to prepare them for active firefighting efforts.
