GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay officials announced plans for an environmental cleanup event ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, aiming to bring together more than 300 volunteers to help beautify the city.
The event, scheduled for Earth Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will take place at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. Volunteers will work on trails, remove invasive species, and clean up the park.

“It’s really a unique opportunity, the first in our city’s history to have this chance to really display what Green Bay is all about,” said Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich. “Bringing people together for a good cause, taking care of our environment, and being the welcoming, open community that we always are.”
Organizers are asking volunteers to pre-register in advance.
