GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A tasty competition is set to highlight Wisconsin’s beloved kringle during the NFL Draft in Green Bay.
Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe and The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay are teaming up for the Kringle Combine at Booyah Battle. Attendees can vote for their favorite kringle on the Friday of the draft with a $5 donation to The Salvation Army.

“Kringle is Wisconsin’s state pastry, and we wanted to show people who are coming in from out of town what it’s about,” said Isabella Tomcheck, marketing manager for Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe. “We’ve never done an event with kringle before, so pairing it with the Booyah Battle Downtown seemed like a great mix. You’re going to be able to come in, get soup, and then you get dessert too.”
The Local Five Live team will be creating one of the flavors to enter into the competition. Catch the show at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday to see Local Five meteorologist Jordan Lamers taste test the new flavor.
The winning kringle will be available at Uncle Mike’s for a limited time following the draft.
