A WINTER STORM WARNING will go into effect for Langlade, Forest, Florence, and northern Marinette counties with a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES just to the south into Shawano, Menominee, northern Oconto, southern Marinette, and Menominee (MI) counties Wednesday afternoon and last into Wednesday night.
3-6″ of snow wet heavy snow is expect in the advisory areas with 6-9″ of wet heavy snow in the warning area.
Expect mainly rain or a rainy mix for Green Bay and the Fox River Valley until the late afternoon when a transition to snow is expected into Wednesday night.
1-3″ of snow/slush is expected then for Green Bay/Fox Valley and the Lakeshore.
Expect northerly winds to gust to 40 mph Wednesday evening and night.
