(WFRV) – A Massachusetts man has been arrested on felony charges relating to sexual crimes against children after he was deemed to be soliciting and distributing explicit materials to a minor in Wisconsin.
According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, they received a report on January 7 that an unknown person had been soliciting and distributing explicit materials to a minor in their jurisdiction.
Pleasant Prairie police officers coordinated an investigation with the Barnstable Police Department in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, and identified the suspect as Patrick Doran of Hyannis, Massachusetts.
On February 27, the Barnstable Police Department initiated a search warrant and arrested him on the following felony charges:
- Solicitation of intimate representation from a minor
- Exposing a child to harmful material
- Exposing genitals, pubic areas and/or intimate parts to a child
The case was part of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department’s affiliation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
