MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Milwaukee are working to improve community safety after an investigation led to the seizure of firearms, stolen vehicles, and key fobs linked to high-end auto thefts.
The Milwaukee Police Department’s Violent Crime Reduction Team began investigating a suspect accused of stealing luxury vehicles using re-programming devices. The investigation led to a search warrant in the 7600 block of West Wabash Court.

During the search, officers recovered three firearms—one equipped with a switch—two vehicle re-programmers, narcotics, more than 20 key fobs, and a stolen high-end vehicle. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
A second search warrant was later executed in the 7300 block of West Florist Avenue. That search uncovered four additional stolen vehicles and two more firearms.

“Great work by officers involved, and also a shout out to our partners at the Wauwatosa Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office for aiding in these investigations,” the Milwaukee Police Department stated.
