Officers investigating disturbance in Omro, 2 hospitalized and another taken into custody

OMRO, Wis. (WFRV) – Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and another was taken into custody following a disturbance investigation in Omro on Thursday night.

Authorities with the Omro Police Department were called to a disturbance in the 400 block of Jackson Avenue in Omro around 11:55 p.m. on April 10, officers said in a release Friday morning.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from non-life-threatening injuries and were able to take a third person at the scene into custody.

The two victims were subsequently taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to process the scene and support the investigation.

Officers noted that there is no danger to the public, and the investigation is ongoing.
