LA CROSSE, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Wisconsin are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the late afternoon hours on Sunday.
According to a La Crosse Police Department release, officers were sent to the scene of a shooting in the 1200 block of Logan Street around 4:28 p.m. on Sunday.
Appleton shooting leaves man hurt, investigation ongoing
Police on the scene found one person who had been shot, and the person was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; additionally, the incident is believed to be isolated.
Anybody in the area is asked to review video footage should they have any, and contact the La Crosse Police Department if they have any information.
