RICE LAKE, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Wisconsin arrested two people after recovering several drugs from a vehicle after a K9 alerted to the odor of multiple controlled substances.
The Rice Lake Police Department said that a Sergeant initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday and deployed K9 Kash to the scene.

K9 Kash alerted to the scent of controlled substances, and officers recovered a plethora of different drugs and paraphernalia. The driver was arrested on the following charges:
- Possession w/intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Possession w/intent to distribute THC
- Methamphetamine Possession
- Drug Paraphernalia Possession
- Operating while under the influence (2nd)
- Operating while revoked
- Failure to install an IID
- Probation violation
