SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say they are investigating a bomb threat that sent police to a Walmart Monday afternoon.
According to a release from the Sun Prairie Police Department, officers responded at 4:35 p.m. to the Walmart on 1905 Mccoy Road for reports of a bomb threat.
Officials say staff at the store found a note that contained the threat leading to staff evacuating the store and calling the police.

Once everyone was evacuated, the store was searched and no suspicious devices were found on the property resulting in the Walmart being reopened at 6:30.
At this time, there are no additional details available and no suspects were arrested. An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
