GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – In just over a month, NFL fans from around the world will trek to Titletown for the 2025 Draft, and Green Bay Metro Transit officials have announced service adjustments to help make travel easier for everyone.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all those attending the NFL Draft in Green Bay on April 24-26, the Green Bay Metro Transit is making modifications to some of its routes, including a special route between downtown and the Titletown area.
The route between downtown and Titletown aims to provide “direct and convenient” transportation and will operate with “regular frequency” at no fare.
City officials noted modified routes to Routes 8 and 9 that will operate on detoured paths during the draft. Detour dates are listed below:
- Route 8 Detour
- April 24-26, with additional detours from April 13-23 and April 28 to May 2
- Route 9 Detour
- April 22-28
It was also noted in the City’s release that GBM On Demand will maintain its regular schedule and operating hours, but due to multiple street closures, drop-off or pickup locations may be limited. Green Bay Metro Transit recommends travelers use its online Bus Tracker for real-time updates on service changes.
