The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
Haziness and fog out the door Wednesday morning! Many communities are under a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 10am. We are expecting more fog to roll in from Lake Michigan this evening and spread west overnight and early Thursday.
Rain chances today will be minor. Since it will be warm and slightly humid again, isolated showers or a weak thundershower could form in the mid-day and afternoon hours. No severe weather from this.
Thursday’s rain chance is much higher. We will be watching a line of strong, possibly severe storms between 4pm and 9pm. Have a way to get severe weather alerts sent to your phone, especially if you will be out at a sporting evening or if you have evening plans. The main risks will be damaging winds and hail – Storm Team 5 will also keep an eye out for spinning storms that may create isolated tornados. At this point, the highest risk for a tornado appears to be central WI, or west of the Fox Cities, but details will be updated in the upcoming forecasts.
