St. Norbert Abbey donates $100K to help homeless families in Green Bay, celebrates 900th anniversary

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Yesterday, Freedom House in Green Bay announced receiving a generous $100,000 JUBILEE grant from the Norbertine Community of St. Norbert Abbey, aimed at supporting local families experiencing homelessness.

According to a Facebook post from Freedom House Green Bay, the grant will significantly boost Freedom House’s ongoing efforts to disrupt the cycle of homelessness and housing instability.

Executive Director Jennifer Schmoe said, “We are humbled by the generosity of St. Norbert Abbey. This JUBILEE gift will help hundreds of families navigate their journey to stable housing and independence.”
