Sunny and warmer for Friday

The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5…

It was very nice to see a day full of sunshine and that allowed for temperatures to get back into the upper 30s to low 40s for highs today. Wind have been fairly blustery but not as strong as we’ve had recently. High pressure will build over tonight and that will relax the winds and allow for clear skies. Temperatures will also fall back to the low to mid 20s, but wind calmer winds, low wind chills are not a concern.

Tomorrow we will pick up a light SE wind 5-10mph and that will allow us to tap into some warmer air off to our south, with highs reaching the upper 40s to low 40s with mostly sunny skies. Friday night is our next precipitation chance, as a week area of low pressure will track through the area bringing the moisture after midnight. Most will see rain, but north of Green Bay will see freezing rain and even accumulating snow of around 1-3in is possible.

This system is expected to be gone by the afternoon Saturday, so expected cloudy skies to stick around and highs reach the mid 40s. Easter is looking mostly cloudy, but thankfully its looking dry for any outdoor plans. Highs for Easter will sit in the mid 40s also.

Now after that we are still tracking a few chances for precipitation Monday and Tuesday. Latest model runs are starting to shift the system south, at least on Monday. Still holding on to a chance of a rain or snow for Tuesday, but this could move south as well. More to come in the next few days.
