Suspect in Wisconsin flees on foot after crashing vehicle during police pursuit

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities are searching for a suspect who fled on foot after crashing a vehicle during a police pursuit Wednesday.

According to the Whitefish Bay Police Department, officers attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of being involved in a residential burglary in Whitefish Bay shortly before noon.

The vehicle fled and ultimately crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of N. 12th St. and W. Finn Pl. in Milwaukee. The suspect then ran from the scene and was unable to be located.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Whitefish Bay Police Department.
