Temps keep going up each day this week

The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

A light breeze out of the northeast this morning brought in some cooler temps off the Lake today which made many of our counties anywhere from 10 to almost 25 degrees cooler than yesterday! Our temps today still remained mild as highs across the Valley did get into the mid-40s.

High pressure sat to our northwest today, and aside form some high level clouds, we did have plenty of sunshine this afternoon. As we move throughout this evening, cloud cover will begin to thicken, as a small snow event develops throughout far north Wisconsin. Likely this won’t impact us, but we could get a few flakes to pass through our northern most communities.

Our wind direction will change again this evening and a light breeze will continue, but now out of the southeast. This southerly wind along with thick cloud cover will help keep our temps from plummeting tonight, but we could still see temps fall to below the freezing mark since we were cooler this afternoon.

This southerly wind will stay light, but continue on throughout tomorrow helping bring back warmer temps for almost all of us! Highs across the Valley tomorrow could be closer to the mid-50s, and elsewhere we will likely stay into the mid-40s.

The warming trend continues on, and by the end of this work week high temps will return to the mid-60s!
