The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
The messy weekend storm is officially done, but slippery conditions from ice and snow will affect the early drive to school and work Monday. We’ve had reports of 0.20″ to 0.60″ of ice from freezing rain north/west of the Fox Cities leading to thousands of power outages, then a few inches of snow on top of that Sunday night. Places like the Fox Cites and lakeshore showing snow accumulation around one inch or less from last night which will melt off today.
A little breezy Monday morning, but clouds are breaking up to let in plenty of sunshine. Highs will be on either side of 40 degrees in our communities this afternoon.
Mostly clear tonight with chilly overnight lows in the teens and 20s.
Some sunshine out the door on Tuesday morning, then clouds increase for the afternoon. Highs in the afternoon get into the low 40s. Plan on more snow to arrive after 9pm at night into early Wednesday.
Snow or a mix in the morning Wednesday will turn over to rain and thunderstorms. Other than snow accumulation, some thunderstorms could have lightning, hail, and may be accompanied by strong wind gusts. The high increases to 48 degrees.
Partly sunny with gusty winds on Thursday. The high is 47 degrees.
A mix of sun and clouds Friday, good for the best day of the week. Highs around 50 degrees.
Mostly cloudy, maybe some light precipitation Saturday. The high is 49 degrees.
Breezy on Sunday and 44 degrees.
