Wisconsin Department of Transportation offering drivers two new specialty license plates

(WFRV) – Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say they will now be offering two new special license plates to drivers throughout the state.

In a release, the two new specialty plates being offered by Wisconsin DOT include a suicide prevention plate and a spay, neuter, adopt plate.

The suicide prevention plate will have all of its proceeds go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a non-profit organization that works to end the loss of life from suicide by setting up innovative prevention programs, educating the public, and raising funds for suicide research and programs.
