HARTFORD, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating a case involving a paid, on-call volunteer fire and EMS member accused of inappropriate contact with an out-of-state juvenile.
According to the Hartford Police Department, officials received information on Sunday, March 22, 2025, about an inappropriate conversation between the volunteer and the juvenile.
Neenah police officer fired after search warrants lead to child pornography charges
Hartford Fire/EMS Chief Tony Burgard reported the allegation to Police Chief Scott MacFarlan, who referred the case to the West Bend Police Department due to a conflict of interest.
The investigation led to the arrest of the 37-year-old volunteer on charges of child enticement and possession of child pornography. The individual has been placed on administrative leave.
