Wisconsin volunteers assist in Red Cross relief efforts following devastating storms

(WFRV) – As part of a multi-state relief effort, the Wisconsin Region of the American Red Cross has sent 29 volunteers and two emergency response vehicles to support communities impacted by severe floods and tornadoes across the South and Midwest.

Since the storms began, Red Cross volunteers have been working tirelessly alongside partners to provide emergency relief. In Wisconsin, volunteers have been crucial in offering assistance, with the state’s Red Cross chapter playing a vital role in the effort.

The Red Cross has already provided hundreds of overnight stays across more than 30 shelters in seven states, including meals, snacks, and relief supplies. These shelters offer a safe place for individuals to get information, food, and essential support.
